A Night of Mischief and Bruised Egos
I figured since Feb 29 comes only once every four years, the night was ripe for doing something really reckless, ridiculous and crazy.
So I gathered up the old gang at Metrowalk ('twas our 5th monthly get together) and came up with an activity that would unleash our inner psychos and, well, knock that old ego down a bit. We all tend to worry about looking good all the time that I felt it was the perfect time to rustle up everybody's composure even for a night!
We met up at Dencio's for dinner, paired up randomnly and went off to do the following dares together:
---With a hand raised high up in the air, shout "DARNA!!!" in the middle of the Metrowalk Quadrangle. (Me, Karen and Earl)
---Walk up to at least 5 strangers of the opposite sex, say "Don't" in your saddest, most forlorn face, and just walk away. (Tricia G!)
---Guy pair will each sing harana to 2 beautiful girls. (Zeph and Terry)
---Converse with someone in a lively and excited manner by pretending he/she knows the stranger completely and insist familiarity for 5 mins. (Mark and Bea)
---Pick up a stranger by convincing that person to give his or her number...using a British accent! (Pinky and Richie)
---Kiss a stranger (Nobody got this! Darn! haha)
---Have someone sign his/her name on your chest (Disen!!!)
---Look for a couple around the area, ask what "their song" is and serenade them (Cris and Mic)
---And last but definitely not the least, performed by none other than Wesley Pristin, Tracey Santiago and Tracey's bag, fight in front of a crowd to the point of causing one hell of a scene! "Tarantado kang bakla ka!!!" Stellar performance guys! I wish I caught it on video! :)
It was such a blast because everybody went along with the dares even though they bordered on the ridiculous! And was it just me or was Metrowalk even more crowded than usual that night?? Haha it took me around an hour to convince them to just do it (there were colorful words thrown at me every now and then) but everybody stepped up!
I just don't think a lot of us will be visiting Metrowalk anytime soon. hahaha :)Labels: feb 29, Leap33
