I'm back!
I haven't been updating this blog for...I don't know how long. It feels like a month. :D
I've been busy doing one thing on top of the other, whether it's with Leap or with work or with everything else that doesn't fall under those two categories. And it's not really because I do not have the time to squeeze in a few minutes of updating. Mainly because I haven't really allowed myself to just stop and take a look back at everything that has been happening. I figured now is the time to take that little breather. :D
So what have I been up to?
- Part of my goal in Leap is to submit an oil-on-canvas entry to the 2008 Metrobank Art and Design Excellence Competition. I started painting two weeks ago and I have to say I am just so glad to rediscover my love for making art. What I love about this particular painting I am making is that it's total self expression. As in I love it!!! I'll post pics of the finished work some time next week. Deadline of submission's on May 9 so I've blocked off the next two days to finish it.
- I have a date today! Having lunch with this guy my friend J introduced me to. Haha we've been texting but today's going to be the first time we meet each other so bring it on na. haha
- LEAP 1st intensive. INTENSE. Haha I loved it. I love the current LEAP team. They remind me so much of my own team as a student. It feels so good to coach. You see yourself in the students. How you were during your own Leap...and you see how much you have really changed. Galeng. And I love love love my council. I got the fun group! Yey!
- I was Paris Hilton for a day. Wahahaha as in blonde wig, short skirt, sexy top--strutting my stuff on the runway! I loved it. LOL it was a hoot! wahahaha.
- I don't know if I blogged about it here but I went to spend the most relaxing weekend in Pansol, Laguna. Sigh.
- I'll be off to Baguio next weekend!
- I finally bought myself an iPod. Yahoo! I got the new iPod Classic. 80GB worth of music, videos and photos. Saya!
- I have another date coming up soon...and I plan on asking this guy from my building out on a date. Wahaha talk about empowering myself. Good luck Tricia. See yourself not chickening out this time. Haha.
- Work is great. We shelved the contest for now because other things are actually working for us. We're also improving the look of the site to make it more visually appealing. hehehe I'll post the url here as soon as I feel like showing it off already. :P
I think that's pretty much it.
Back to work! Busy day ahead! :)
