Let the games begin!
Well, I decided to skip the haircut and let my hair grow for now. Hehe start the year with a stretch!
Life's been better the past week. After my pre and post new year drama moments (and when I say drama, I mean DRAMA), I finally managed to get my act together. And I love it. :)
I really think 2008's going to be THE Year. As in I can feel it. A lot of things are happening and it's only the first of the month. As in I can feel the excitement. It's crazy but I'm just really feeling so optimistic about what's in store for me!
Maybe I'm just feeling kilig I got to see my crush recently that I'm all giddy and excited about anything in particular. Hahaha *ahem*
Anyway.
I have a lot of things lined up early this year:
- A collaborative book project with Tricia and Karlo--a writer (moi), chef and photographer tandem. Don't you just love it?
- Short story writing contest!
- Outside coaching for LEAP 35--I'm so excited to see my ALC council go through their LEAP! They are in for one hell of a ride! Laugh laugh cry cry! hahaha I can't wait until I finally coach as well. Now's not yet the right time for me but I'm thinking third quarter of the year...hehehe time will tell :) I was so touched by what one of the recent Leap graduates said to me last night. She said she found me an inspiration ever since we met a couple months ago. I swear I was just so touched and amazed that I could leave that kind of impact on someone without me being aware of it...awww I guess I really have changed. Leap has just done so much for me. If I could take it again, I would. But, well, you can only take it once so I will just coach nalang. A deeper, more selfless experience :)
- French lessons! It's all part of my action plan to eventually apply for a job at the United Nations. Checked out their site and apparently, knowledge of the French language is an advantage. Oui!
- *toot* racket with Cel --I read in your blog that it's still confidential so...I'll be mum about it for now! lol
- My birthday adventure! I've already booked my flight to Dumaguete to visit my superficial goddess friend. I'm leaving on the day of my birthday so I will be spending a part of my day 30,000 feet up in the air! You're right baklush, it is rather exciting! I'll also be in two different places that day--so symbolic! Comfort zone Manila to unexplored Dumaguete. Hmmm. I love it. It speaks of adventure--a good omen for my 24th year! Hehehe
- Bangkok trip --I'm not sure yet if I'll be going with my family or my friends or just by myself to visit Tricia. Haha I'm not sure about the date for this one yet but IT WILL HAPPEN.
- My job--IT's gonna be huge...We're going to do one hell of a job marketing this project. I'm declaring it already. Make or Break. I'm betting on MAKE. ;)
- My crazy predicament--I swear I don't know what'll happen but whether it ends up good or bad or hilarious, this happened to me for a reason so I'm obviously meant to take some lesson or whatever from it. I'm excited, anxious, optimistic, lost, worried, content? I'm a lot of things. Point is, I'm just glad I'm feeling every single interesting fantastic moment of it. So there. I don't know what I'm going to do or what is going to happen but I can't wait to see how things will pan out. Sigh. I'll just trust it'll end up the way it's meant to end...or begin. Whatever. All I know is I do not (and will not) regret a single minute of it--even the bad parts. :)
So far, that's 2008 for me! It won't end there though. I just know there are a lot of crazies in store for me that I may not even be aware of yet but all the more I look forward to it. LOL
I only hope there wouldn't be any more addition to my psycho stalkers list. Waaah. Okay, deep breaths. Exhale all of them away to Neverneverland. Sayonara suckers!Labels: 2008
